Top 5 Worst Movies 2011

#1 JACK AND JILL: The Biggest fail of the year is without a doubt Jack and Jill. I believe this film was meant to be a comedy but actually turned out so annoying I am having panic attacks just thinking about having to sit through it again. Adam Sandler gives, and it is hard to say this, the worst performance of his career! The last time a man did this terrible of a job pretending to be a woman was Jennifer Lopez in Hitch. This movie does not just receive two thumbs down but two fingers up for wasting my hard earned money.

#2 ZOOKEEPER: Lame jokes, terrible plot and of course Kevin James. When will these terrible movies with talking animals stop! I mean what director would make the star of a movie a talking pig…yes that was a Kevin James reference. Not only does this movie get #2 worst movie of the year It also claims the title of all around dumbest kids movie of the year.

#3 OUR IDIOT BROTHER: Sit back relax and watch Paul Rudd destroy his movie career. This movie dubbed a laugh out loud by the critics, had not one person laughing out loud in theaters. This would not be the first time they have been utterly mistaken. With so many characters running into each other and having no real plot together, this movie definitely stank worse than the hippies it was full of. You know you have a terrible movie when the only funny part is a behind the scenes reference to Anchor Man during the credits.

#4 BUCKY LARSON: When you think of a skit about a geek that wants to be a porn star just like his parents, thousands of hilarious scenes and ideas come racing to mind…..It is just too bad that the same result did not happen for the writers. With Nick Swardsons’ awesome role in Grandmas Boy and hand in writing it you would expect great things to come from this kid. I mean the whole structure of this movie should have been completely tasteless and trashy adult humor but instead we got some kindergarten school yard bulls***.

#5 PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN 4: I love pirates always have always will but for the first time in a long time I was not able to make it through a whole movie and it’s time to blow this piece of Hollywood money plundering junk out of the water. With undertone as witty as The Little Mermaid this fourth movie in a what was once a fantastic series, is now droll and expected. You think this multimillion dollar company called Disney had enough cash they didn’t have to create this monster of a money sucker to ruin a series that could have easily turned into a cult classic. This is one of the only movies ever made that not even Johnny Depp could stop from sinking.

NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: A group of people hide from bloodthirsty zombies in a farmhouse. This horror thriller sparked the zombie craze and defined what zombies today are thought of. Written and directed by George A. Romero this is one any horror fan should have in their collection.

TRUE GRIT: John Wayne hits the big screen at his best in this western classic. A remake was just recently released, whether you liked it or not I suggest checking out the original.

CAPE FEAR: We are talking about the original here not the re-make. Law stands mute when confronted with its own overbearing shadow, and when that shadow is outlined with vengeance, all systems of jurisprudence are rendered impotent.

GONE WITH THE WIND: made in 1939 this classic love story takes place during the civil war. A Manipulative woman and a roguish man carry on a love affair.

ON THE WATERFRONT: This 1954 classic story of Mob informers was based on a number of true stories and filmed on location in and around the docks of New York and New Jersey. A riveting performance by Marlan Brando and Karl Malden as his priest.
