What a whirlwind adventure we experienced in preparing and publishing our February issue, our very first! We are really excited about the positive response, and appreciate the feedback that we have received to date.
We enjoyed talking to the folks at the Rockabilly Reunion who stopped by our booth or we met while we were wondering around. Additionally we were introduced to some great people for some more interesting content. What a BLAST! The wonderful weather made for a great turnout and a great event.
The more we are out and about talking to people, the more we learn about events and organizations that make up this town… and the more we look into events, the more we find out how many folks are involved! There are a couple examples of that in this issue with the King of the Hammers and Best in the Desert off road races. In working on the cover story about the WORCS UTV/ATV/motorcycle racing series coming to Havasu this month, it became evident that many young people in this town have grown up racing in this series and dominate this sport. We look forward to the opportunity to write a follow up story after talking to some of these young racers.
Well, it is deadline in about an hour… thanks so much for the support and to the advertisers that support us. We want to make sure everyone knows that we are looking for YOUR input.
